Mérida Ta Wéetel (Mérida With You)
PROJECTS
Mérida Ta Wéetel seeks to position the Mayan language as a means of communication in municipal public service and strengthen its presence in the social and cultural life of the municipality. The initiative combines training for officials, courses for citizens, Mayan signage, and awareness campaigns. It includes cultural activities, translation of municipal programs, and cooperation agreements with local and international organizations, promoting language revitalization, cultural identity, and intergenerational learning.
