On February 23, 2021, the Regional Forum of Learning Cities of Mexico: Resilient Communities took place. This event, organized in collaboration with the Mérida City Council, brought together local government authorities from the southern region of the country, civil society organizations, the private sector, and representatives of international organizations. The forum aimed to analyze and evaluate the main social, economic, and public health challenges arising from the pandemic in Mexican cities, as well as to highlight the value of lifelong learning as a catalyst for profound change in societies in crisis and their transformation into resilient communities.
